Francis J. Brochon developed his 35 years career within the international electronics industry, in the fields of telecommunications, computers, and consumer electronics.

He worked for large groups like MATRA (France),Timeshare and Hewlett-Packard (USA), and VICORP (Holland).

In 1991, he founded XCOM multimedia communications, which became a worldwide well established company in the field of Digital telecommunications.
The company was acquired in 2001 by PACE Micro technology, a UK based company, the European leader in this market.

Mr Brochon will now devote his time to the Foundation for Technical education, bringing with him his experience in both electronics and the management of successful organisations.

Mr Brochon holds a PhD in electronics (ESIEE Paris) and an MBA from IAE.
